Important forms to complete and return 25 August 2015

Arun District Council are now delivering an important form to your home. This Household Enquiry Form (HEF) is for you to complete and return to ensure that the information held on the Electoral Register about your household is correct. This document forms part of the Council’s annual voter registration canvass and is a vital way of ensuring that information is up to date. If you have moved home, changed your name or somebody in your household is turning 18 in the next 2 years this form is particularly important to you.

The HEF form has been designed to be as easy as possible to complete, and if you need some guidance, help is at hand as a useful leaflet is included with the form. You can complete the form online, by text or over the phone, or of course by returning the paper form that you receive through your door.

Nigel Lynn, Chief Executive at Arun District Council and also Electoral

Registration Officer for the district, said: “To ensure that Arun residents are able to vote, they must be registered. By checking, completing and returning these forms, we can ensure that registration takes place and you will be included in future elections.”

“Encouraging the young voters is so important to the future of the Arun District, and I encourage you to ensure these details are completed on the form and returned as soon as possible. We would also like to see everybody who is eligible to vote registered and you can find out more by visiting the Arun District Council Website link http://www.arun.gov.uk/registration or you can just apply to register at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.”
