The COVID-19 pandemic has meant many changes and adjustments have been needed to so that we do our best to ensure the safety of voters and election staff. We are using polling stations where the COVID-secure guidelines can be met.

There will be clear signs with regard to entry and exit routes, hand sanitiser will be available, and voters must wear face coverings inside the poll station (unless a valid exemption is in place) and to respect each other’s space and observe social distancing. We are also asking voters to bring their own pencils.

We are asking residents to be patient and to follow any instructions provided, as we will be working hard to ensure that the process runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible on the day,
