Low tide at the beach
Looking for something to do in the summer holidays on a tight budget? Visit your local beach at low tide and see what you can find in the shallows.
Yesterday Beach Patrol Officers in Littlehampton found slipper limpets, purple topshell, common mussels, netted dog whelk, sea lettuce seaweed and lots of little fish. There is so much to see and if you are lucky you might find a hermit crab!
