New coffee kiosk set to adorn Bognor Regis seafront

A new coffee kiosk offering the finest Italian coffee to people strolling along Bognor Regis promenade is set to open this summer, subject to planning consent.

Coffee Cup is an established business with four other outlets in the South of England and will offer hot and cold drinks and high-quality fresh food and snacks.

If planning permission is granted, the kiosk will open every day throughout the year, except for Christmas Day.

Debbie Parsons from Coffee Cup said: “We are delighted to be looking at opening a new Coffee Cup outlet in Bognor Regis. We pride ourselves on offering a fantastic service, alongside an extremely high quality product in clean, well presented surroundings. We remain open come rain or shine, all year round and have developed a large regular customer base as a result.”

Councillor Dudley Wensley, Deputy Leader of Arun District Council and Cabinet Member for Corporate Governance, said: “If planning permission is granted, we will be delighted to welcome Coffee Cup to Bognor Regis. The Bognor Regis Seafront Strategy clearly sets out the need for the promenade to have an all-year-round catering service, and for that service to be high-quality and Coffee Cup certainly fits the bill.

“We plan to trial their all-year-round opening for a year initially and review its success towards the end of the trial, but we feel confident that this venture is ideally suited to this location and we hope to see it thrive.”

The Coffee Cup will be located on the site of a previous business between Albert Road and Walton Avenue, subject to a successful planning application. It is hoped that the kiosk will be open in time for the start of the summer season.
