New term free activity courses from Arun Wellbeing

running Arun Wellbeing is offering a range of free eight week activity courses aimed at people who want to be more active, fit and healthy. These could be people who either don’t exercise or rarely exercise.  The courses begin in early February and are taking place in Bognor Regis and Littlehampton.

Many of us aim to lose weight or become more active as a New Year’s Resolution, and taking part in an Arun Wellbeing activity course is a fantastic way to kick start a healthy exercise routine for 2018.

The first activity course is Spinning, which is a popular, low impact work out. It’s suitable for beginners and trained instructors will conduct the course in an engaging way, which is enjoyable for everyone.  If cycling outdoors in the Winter doesn’t take your fancy, Spinning could be a fantastic alternative for you and provides all the same benefits.

Arun Wellbeing are also running a Beginners’ Fitness course. Beginners’ Fitness was incredibly successful the last time the course took place, with many participants feeling more confident exercising by the end of the course. The classes feature a range of different activities in a circuits style format, and can be adapted to suit individual needs by enthusiastic and supportive trained instructors.

Finally, for anyone who has always wanted to get into running but either didn’t know where to start or didn’t feel confident, the Learn to Run course is a fantastic option. The course will help you gain confidence and develop your fitness levels.

Councillor Mike Clayden, Cabinet Member for Community Wellbeing at Arun District Council, said: “Arun Wellbeing’s activity courses are always hugely popular. I’d recommend anyone wanting to increase their activity levels, but unsure how to go about it, consider booking a place.”

Places on the above free courses are strictly limited by number.
