Arun District Council is delighted to hear the announcement from Highways England that a modified Route 5a has been proposed for the A27 Arundel Bypass.

Arun District Council is strengthening its tough stance on littering and dog fouling in the district. From 15 May 2018, enforcement officers who currently issue on-the-spot fines for littering and dog fouling offences across Arun are to be given powers to enforce dog controls too.

Grants up to £1000 are available for voluntary, community and charity groups who operate in the Arun district, which covers Arundel, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and many of the surrounding villages. Applications are invited from not-for-profit organisations for activities that promote or support wellbeing and health.
