Park and Play in Arun this summer!

Look out for the Freedom Leisure Park & Play van in Arun this summer.

As the school holidays begin the Park & Play van will be visiting various locations in the area packed full of play equipment and a bouncy castle! Play sessions last for two hours and are free of charge.

Children aged 8-12 can attend, unsupervised, as long as a parent consent form has been completed and the child signed in and out at the beginning and end of the session. Children seven and below must be accompanied by an adult.

You can find the Park & Play van throughout the summer holidays, 10am – 12 noon, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in Bersted Trees Estate Park (access via Bronze close, PO229RS) and on Tuesdays and Thursdays on Bersted Village Green (off Berry lane, PO21 5EJ).

In the afternoons, the van will move to Littlehampton and from 2-4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday, it will be waiting for you at the Water Lane Recreation Ground, (opposite the Wickbourne Centre, BN17 7DZ).

Cllr Paul Dendle Cabinet Member for Leisure and Amenities, Arun District Council said ‘”It’s wonderful to see activities like this in place for our young people. It is so important to keep them active and busy during the holidays and to know that they are making the most of the parks and open spaces in our area is even better. Freedom Leisure is providing these sessions free of charge and I hope that local parents and children will support this excellent initiative.”
