Parktastic a fantastic FREE event for everyone 21 08 15
Have fun and keep healthy with some exercise taster sessions for adults, fun activities for kids, and healthy cooking and eating tips this summer.
Arun Wellbeing is working in partnership with the Arundel Lido and the Arundel Surgery Community Association to put on this fun and exciting free event which will be held at Arundel Lido on Tuesday 25 August, and is open to people of all ages to join in.
Some of the activities for this year include cook and eat demonstrations, Sea World Inflatable Obstacle Course, exercise taster sessions for adults, and a synchronised swimming demonstration.
Awesome Sports Events will be running a mini aquathlon with a swim and a cycle on a stationary bike, and there will also be some fun activities for the kids (including face painting) and information stands.
Councillor Paul Wotherspoon, Arun District Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Services, said: “Parktastic is great and has the aim to improve resident’s lifestyle by encouraging everyone to be more active in their day to day life.”
