Rejuvenation of Alexandra Theatre – Arun Arts to hold a second community conversation event

Arun Arts, in partnership with Arun District Council are excited to host a second community conversation event to share the evolved plans for the rejuvenation of Alexandra Theatre. A planning application is being submitted to Arun District Council following the first community event in March, where there was clear support for the rejuvenation vision.
The event will showcase the finalised plans and designs with the local community, where there will again be the opportunity to speak with members of the team about how the proposals have been evolved into the final scheme.
There will also be the opportunity to view inside the main auditorium where we can explain some of the improvements which are being proposed.
The event will be held at the Alexandra Theatre, Belmont Street, PO21 1BL on Friday 16 June from 1pm – 7pm.

“We are grateful for all of the feedback received during our first community consultation event and are pleased to share our evolved proposals with the local community. We are committed to working together with all stakeholders across the town to deliver a rejuvenated theatre as part of our plan for the wider Regis Centre and are delighted that we are now in a position to submit a planning application.”
