Arun District Council announced last week that it is giving a rent holiday to its small businesses in the crucially important Retail, Leisure and Hospitality sector for the three months starting 1 April 2020 and will review it further if needed.

Unfortunately again today, Tuesday 31 March, we won’t be able to collect any kerbside recycling as we are working with a reduced workforce.

To ensure that  help reaches those that need it, we are working with West Sussex County Council, the NHS, Public Health England.

We have been working hard to keep refuse and recycling collections as close to normal as possible, however today, 30 March, we won’t be able to collect kerbside recycling in East Preston, Angmering, Clapham and Patching and parts of Rustington, as we are now working with a reduced task force. 

In line with Government guidance we will be continuing to keep all public toilets that are run and managed by us open. As well as this, additional cleaning will be taking place.
