Yapton NPR - notice of referendum

1. A referendum will take place on Tuesday 12 September 2023  to decide on the question below:

   “ Do you want Arun District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Yapton to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”

2. New applications to register to vote must reach the electoral registration officer at Arun District Council, Arun Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, BN17 5LF by midnight on Thursday 24 August 2023.  Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
3. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the electoral registration officer at Arun District Council, Arun Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, BN17 5LF by 5pm Friday 25 August 2023.
4. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Monday 4 September 2023. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate
5. Applications to vote by proxy at this referendum must reach the electoral registration officer at Arun District Council, Arun Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, BN17 5LF by 5pm on Monday 4 September 2023.
6. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this referendum must reach the electoral registration officer at Arun District Council, Arun Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, BN17 5LF by 5pm on Tuesday 12 September 2023.
