For the first time, residents in Arun will need to show photographic ID to vote in the polling station at this year’s local elections on 4 May.

We are extending SWEP in Arun by an additional two nights due to the continued cold temperatures. Rough sleepers can continue to access SWEP tonight (Friday 20 Jan) and tomorrow night (Saturday 21 Jan) should they wish to.

During planned dredging of the entrance of Littlehampton Harbour, part of the wall on the west bank of the river has sustained significant damage that is not repairable. Further investigations are planned but there is now an increased risk the structure could fail.
