ballot box The West Sussex County Council Election is just three weeks away, 4 May 2017, and there are some key stages to be aware of.

Your poll cards should be with you now but if you are not already registered to vote the deadline to do so is Thursday 13 April 2017. You can do this via the Arun District Council Website at http://www.arun.gov.uk/registration .You can follow the links there to register online.

You can choose to place your vote either at a polling station, or by a postal or proxy vote. You can still apply to vote by post or to change your existing postal or proxy voting arrangement as long as your application is received by 5pm on 18 April 2017.   You can find out more about how to vote on the Arun District Council Website at http://www.arun.gov.uk/registration.

The statement of persons nominated has now been published and you can now see who is standing for election on your area by visiting http://www.arun.gov.uk/west-sussex-county-council-elections#publication.

Arun District Council will also publish the Notice of Poll and Polling Stations by 26 April, Any queries regarding the election should be directed to elections@arun.gov.uk.
