Information we collect

We’ll be asking for full details of what you wish to complain about. You can choose to also tell us your name, address and a contact telephone number.

Why we collect this information

We use the details you provide to investigate your complaint.

Some customers want to know how we resolve the complaint whilst others prefer to just make us aware of the issue and remain anonymous. You have the option to tell us your name, address and contact details if you do require a response. It’s also helpful for us to have these details if we have any questions or need further information, however you don’t have to give them – we’re still able to investigate your complaint without them.

Biffa Ltd may share your information with their insurance provider if you are making a claim for damage they have caused.

What we do with your information

Aside from investigating your complaint we use non-personal information from your form for statistical purposes. These help us to monitor our contractors and identify any patterns of complaints across the district.

How long we will keep your information

The information in your form will be kept for 3 years.
