You can cut up and place your Christmas tree in your brown bin if you have an existing Biffa Green Waste Club subscription. If not, they can be recycled at your local recycling centre. 

What goes in your bin submenu

  1. General rubbish Items which cannot be put in the recycling like food, polystyrene or dirty packaging
  2. Green bin with blue lid Items for recycling like clean and dry food packaging, tins and bottles
  3. Brown bin Garden waste such as lawn and hedge clippings
  4. Medical rubbish Syringes and other sharps for the yellow boxes and medical waste like bandages, dressings and incontinence items
  5. Bin collection problems How to report a missed collection, lost or damaged recycling bin
