Hypnotism licence
You must hold a licence to stage a public performance of hypnotism for entertainment purposes.
You will not need a permit if the hypnotism is for the purpose of scientific demonstration or research, or if you are only hypnotising yourself.
You must submit your application at least 28 days before the performance.
Apply
You’ll need to give us:
- membership details of any relevant recognised professional organisations
- the venue name and address
- the dates and times of performance
- details of your last 3 performances
- your public liability insurance details

1. Have a debit or credit card for payment
2. Download the PDF document and complete the form
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to upload and submit the application.
