Levelling Up Fund Littlehampton and Bognor Regis
We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in a bid to secure a grant from the new government Levelling Up Fund.
A bid was submitted in June 2020 to enable us to embark on extensive improvement projects in Bognor Regis and Littlehampton.
A sum of £19.4 million has been awarded. This will not only enhance both Bognor Regis and Littlehampton for residents but attract visitors and new business to the area which will boost the local economy. The government recognised the case presented for the investment and agreed what huge benefits this will deliver in both towns.
The historic information below provides an insight on how the Levelling Up Fund bid for funding was made through design ideas and pre-consultations of a vision that could be further developed over time. The bid was submitted in June 2020 to regenerate the Bognor Regis and Littlehampton seafront and the grant was awarded in Autumn 2021. It will focus on the Alexandra Theatre and Littlehampton Seafront Scheme. Since being awarded the grant, the funding allows for the areas of Littlehampton seafront to include West Green and up to Banjo Road only. You can now view the recent up to date Littlehampton designs and consultation results elsewhere on our site. Some details have been removed that are commercially sensitive.
