Antisocial behaviour (ASB)

Our antisocial behaviour and neighbourhood housing officers work closely together to investigate reports of ASB and take action where it is required. They work with our partner agencies to reduce anti-social behaviour in your communities. 74 new cases were reported to us in 2021/22.

Over the last year our teams have continued to support residents and work with them to sustain their tenancies, access financial advice, and help reduce rent arrears.

Our financial inclusion officer provided 187 households with either debt, budgeting, or benefits advice

Our tenancy sustainment officer provides time-limited support to help residents sustain their tenancy. In 2021-22 they received 43 referrals from officers of tenants who were identified as needing extra support.

Your rent

94.91% of the rent due for 2021-22 was collected which is slightly down on last year at 95.70%

Our officers continued to work with residents who were in rent arrears to set up affordable payment plans and help them access further support with debt and benefits.

Housing fraud

Our fraud investigation and enforcement officer receives referrals from officers and members of the public of suspected housing fraud.

The different types of fraud they investigate include:

  • letting out homes without our knowledge (sub-letting)
  • key selling
